The weekend of the 25th, 26th and 27th January 2019 saw BPSM play host to the World Federation of Independent Scouts (WFIS) (Europe) General Assembly (GA) 2019.
The GA which is held every year in different countries throughout Europe discusses matters affecting policy and plans future international events for traditional Scouts throughout Europe. Malta was selected in 2018 to host this important event which saw Scouters travel from all over Europe.
The event was 12 months in planning and was held in Qawra with delegates staying nearby at the Sunflower Hotel.
There was even one Scouter from Chile who was there to observe.
Feedback from those attending was very positive and we look forward to next year's GA in the UK.
