Scouting through COVID 19 OUTBREAK

COVID 19 Awareness Campaign, 5th Week, 25th November, 2020.

'Awareness is like the sun. When it shines on things, they are transformed', A Hindi Quote. The hope that more people become aware that the earlier we are safe from COVID 19, is the best for everyone, is a hope that is still very alive. In the meantime, people need to keep in mind all the time, that it is the responsibility of each and every one of us to make sure that the spread of the virus is reduced as much as possible. This is our duty.
As part of the awareness campaign launched four weeks ago, our scouts, have been asked to prepare a poster with a message. Miguel Mallia, a Wolf Cub scout with MTARFA Baden Powell Scout Group, created this poster, with a clear message about the need to do our part. Simple, creative, and effective message. Well Done Miguel. Let us hope that a lot of people understand that together we may win over this deadly virus for the wellness of us all.

COVID 19 Awareness Campaign, 4th Week: 18th November, 2020

“If you don't like the solution, change the problem.”
― Criss Jami
A lot of people everywhere sometimes behave in irresponsible ways. This is not about not knowing how the Virus may kill people and make millions suffer. Today, when people do not take the necessary precautions to reduce the spread of the Covid 19, is because of carelessness and are not sensitive about others. To those who are careless to take the necessary precautions, 'if you do not like the solution, change the problem'.
As part of the awareness campaign launched three weeks ago, our scouts, have been asked to prepare a poster with a message. Luka Guillaumier, a wolf cub scout with ZEBBUG Baden Powell Scout Group, created this poster, from cuttings, and has been creative enough to put the print of his hand in red paint. Simple, creative, and effective message. Well Done Luka. Let us hope that a lot of people understand that it is also with them that we win over the virus as soon as possible.
Covid 19 Awareness Campaign, Third Week: 12th November 2020

“The less awareness you have, the more you become like others! Increase your awareness, then you will become more unique!”
― Mehmet Murat Ildan.

In our war against the spread of Covid 19, our unique actions make all the difference. If our level of awareness is of a mediocre nature, we lack any degree of sensitivity towards ourselves let alone towards others.

In our Scout Movement, we embarked with our scouts on a campaign to elicit awareness from all quarters of our society and beyond. We encouraged our scouts to create a message through their own drawings. For the third week running here is another poster prepared by a Wolf Cub Scout from Mtarfa Baden Powell Scout Group. Jaden Camilleri. Congratulations Jaden

Covid 19 Awareness Campaign, Second week: 04.11.2020

Someone described the importance of 'Awareness', as 'the acknowledgement of a single possibility can change everything'. In these difficult times never experienced by the generations of the last hundred years of which we are all part of, the least we can do is be aware to take the necessary measures of personal responsibilities to reduce the spread of the Covid 19 Pandemic. In line with the ultimate objective of Scouting, 'to leave a better world then the one we found', we are asking our Scouts to design a message by drawing a poster. This is the second such poster to be uploaded in this initiative launched on the 27th October. This poster is by Charlotte Mizzi from the Wolf Pack - Zebbug Baden Powell Scout Group.

'The first step towards CHANGE to is AWARENESS.... and AWERENESS without action is worthless, someone said. We are asked our Scouts to draw and design their own posters with their own messages to reduce the spread of the Corona Virus 2019.

Every week we are going to upload a poster to attract attention to the fact that without each and everyone's personal precautions and actions, this pandemic outbreak will stay with us much longer than any one of us may imagine. Our duty and responsibility are to protect ourselves and others at all times.

This poster was prepared by Jaiden Camilleri from Mtarfa Baden Powell Scout Group
