International Scouting by Baden Powell Scouts Malta










Baden Powell Scouts Malta Steering Committee adopted for the first time the National Scarf for the Give Me Five Assoraider Scout Camp held at Brownsea Park in August 2012. Brownsea Park is situated at Villa Valle Longa in the periphery of Rome, Italy.
The Baden Powell Scouts Malta, National Scarf is Red in centre and the edge is white colour, it carries the eight pointed cross. The National Scarf is a replica of the Maltese National Flag as found the Malta Constitution. The Scarf was designed by Mr. Carmel Mangion, GSM Qormi Baden Powell Scouts.
Baden Powell Scouts Malta contingent travelled to Bassano Romano on the 31st July 2014 to join 2000 scouts from all over Europe and guests from Africa, Asia , South and North America.
The WFIS Eurocamp 2014 kicked off with the opening ceremony on Saturday, 2nd August, at 19.00hrs.
The Maltese Contingent was made up of five persons. (LtR) Daniel Vella (Mgarr B-P Sea Scouts), Zak Bridge Shone (Bahrija B-P Scouts), Andre' Cauchi & Marcus Xerri (Mtarfa B-P Scouts), behind the camera, & George Mangion (President and International Commissioner). The contingent returned back to the Island on Saturday, 9th August, 2014 to recount the wonderful experience of International Scouting within the fraternity of traditional scouting.
