Beaver Scout Colony
The Beaver section is the youngest member of the Scout family, open to boys and girls as young as 3 months before going up to aged 5 and they remain in the colony up to 7.5 years, after which they move to Wolf Cubs.
Fun and friendship are the cornerstones of the Beaver program. Through an adventurous program of outdoor activities, creative play, music and cooperative games, Beavers enjoy time with their friends (and meet new ones), learn how to get along within a group, and develop the confidence to be themselves.
Beavers were created to deal with the demand from the younger brothers and sisters of Cubs to become part of the Scouting Movement.
